Frequently asked questions

How do I get to Castello di Petrata?
The closest airport is Perugia (about 20 minutes away), with Rome and Florence roughly 2 to 2.5 hours by car or train. Full directions and travel tips are on our Travel page.
How do I RSVP?
Please RSVP by completing the form on this website by 1 November 2026. We ask that you complete one form per attendee so that we have everyone’s dietary requirements and, as importantly, everyone’s song requests. If you are RSVPing for your group, please feel free to use the same email address each time.
Can I bring a plus one?
We wish we could invite everyone, but we do have to limit the number of attendees. If a plus one has been reserved for you, they will be specifically included with your invitation. Thank you for understanding.
Are children welcome?
We’re happy to have children celebrate with us. Please check your invitation and RSVP on their behalf so we make sure we have a plate for them at dinner. If they are planning to join us for only parts of the day, please let us know. The concierge may be able to assist with babysitters if required.
Where should I stay?
There are lovely hotels, agriturismos, and B&Bs nearby in Assisi and the surrounding hills, as well as glamping available if you wish to stay onsite. Please see our Travel page for some recommendations in the area. We also suggest looking on Booking.com, Airbnb or other travel sites.
What will the weather be like?
Hopefully it’s a pleasant spring day but who knows! Late May in Umbria is typically good - mid-20s during the day but dropping at night. You may want to bring a light layer in case it gets cooler in the evening.
What time should I arrive on the wedding day?
The ceremony starts at 4:30pm on Monday, 31 May. We suggest arriving at Castello di Petrata from 3:45pm to settle in, grab a drink and find a spot. The full schedule can be found on our Schedule page.
