—A 20 minute drive to Assisi

—About a 2.5 hour drive to Assisi, or there is a 2 hour train from Rome Termini to Assisi
—A range of budget and premium airlines fly direct to FCO from London, Asia, the Middle East and beyond

Scenic

Florence (FLR)

—Also known as Amerigo Vespucci airport
—About 2 hours by car, driving through Tuscany (or 2.5 hours if you would like to stop in Siena)
—You can also train from Firenze Santa Maria Novella to Assisi which takes 1 hour 45 minutes on an IC train or 2.5 hours on an RV train
